GPS for Timber Trace

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

GPS FOR TIMBER TRACE is a GPS based service designed for freight vehicles transporting timber and non-timber forest products. The solution is fully compliant with the requirements established in Article 14b of Ordinance No. 1 on the Control and Protection of Forest Areas, which mandates that vehicles transporting timber must be equipped with GPS devices for tracking and positioning their movement.

Companies operating freight vehicles that transport timber and non-timber forest products, as well as the mobile facilities under Article 206 of the Forestry Act.

Функционалности

GPS for Timber Trace fully complies with all regulatory requirements regarding freight vehicles transporting timber and non-timber forest products, as well as the mobile facilities under Article 206 of the Forestry Act:

  • “We install fully operational and functional GPS devices for real-time positioning and tracking of vehicles transporting timber and non-timber forest products.

  • We provide online access to the location and routes of vehicles transporting timber for both the owner and the respective Regional Forest Directorate.

  • The installed devices ensure continuous recording of the vehicles’ location and route data. The data includes the respective date and time, with the option for subsequent review of the records and storage of information for a minimum of 3 calendar months.

  • Issuance of a document certifying the installation and functioning of the GPS device, to be presented to the Regional Forest Directorate (RFD).
